The Golden Gate

Carolyn and I walked the Golden Gate Bridge yesterday. The whole thing...and back! It was 3.4 miles of fog, cold and fun. What can I say? It's something you have to do at least once in your life right? So if you haven't already...get crackin'!

When I said foggy, I mean REALLY foggy. You couldn't even see to the top.

I like to get up close and personal with landmarks.

Proof that we made it all the way to the other end.

The sun came out for just a minute. Then we went to North Beach for lunch and stumbled across this street fair with these Italian dancers. Then we checked out the National Shrine of St. Francis of Assisi. This is the church we grew up in so we had to pay homage to our favorite Saint. For all you non-Catholics, he's the Patron Saint of animals...and Italy because he's (surprise) Italian!
